Be Careful Handling The Books In The Clute Library

KTRK reports that vandals have been hitting the library recently, and residents are scratching their heads about it all.
"It just shows you where we are in the world today," one patron said.
The station offered no information on exactly which books were pissed on, so it's difficult to pass judgment. (Well, it actually isn't, of course, but if it was Glenn Beck's Arguing With Idiots that got splattered....)
Residents of Clute can rest assured that there are standards when it comes to this sort of thing.
"When something like that happens to a book, you have to withdraw it," said Lisa Loranc with the Brazoria County Libraries. "There's no other option."Glad to hear there's still a bit of civilization left in Clute.
