They're a locally-owned business that sells green, ecologically-safe toys, furniture and baby care products for new parents and chitlins which are not just safe for the planet, they're also super-safe for babies. Kozy Kid Creations is another Houston-based business selling handmade baby goods, including this rockin' mama pink and leopard baby sling, plus stuff for older kiddos.
Look no further than Dadwood of Texas for the perfect heirloom gift, a handmade rocking chair woodshopped right here in Houston. At $3,250 each, the chairs aren't cheap, but then again, neither is parenthood.
For something a bit more personal, check out Houstonian Taryn Peine's Etsy shop, To a T. Peine machine-embroiders baby clothes with adorable designs -- look at this "Rat Pack Christmas" onesie. All orders can be personalized either design-wise or with the baby's name. So cute!
