Let It Glow, Let It Glow, Let It Glow

Categories: Art

While we might be short -- extremely short -- on snow in Houston this holiday season, we had plenty to glow about on Saturday night at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Houston's famous art cars were on display as the public had never seen them before at the first annual Gloworama.

People accustomed to an art car parade during the day and the heat were in for a treat when the cars rolled down the street at night and in a cool breeze. The cars were illuminated with Christmas lights, glow sticks and every other kind of light the art car artists could get their fenders around.

Couldn't make it on Saturday? Enjoy some of our favorite photos from the night below. And check back later this morning for a full slideshow from the event.
