The two suspected knife men
Houston police are looking for a pair of men suspected of stabbing 22-year-old Vicente Ramirez to death early Saturday morning.

Police say Ramirez and some friends were at a bar at around 4:30 a.m. at 5901 Hillcroft when they got into a fight with a bunch of unknown men. During the fight Ramirez and his two friends were stabbed, police say. Ramirez died and the other two were taken to Ben Taub General Hospital so doctors could treat their multiple wounds.

The suspects were last seen in a white or tan-colored Toyota Corolla.

A man was shot to death at 7640 Clarewood at about 10 p.m. Sunday night. Police say that friends of the victim, whose name has not been released, gave the man a ride to his home behind a convenience store. As the victim was walking up to his home, he was ambushed by an unknown man and shot several times in the chest. The gunman then fled.

Police are investigating the death of a man along the service road at 9410 North Freeway on Saturday afternoon. The victim was found shot to death in an abandoned car in a parking lot, police say. Investigators believe the shooting occurred at a different location and say they have no motive or suspects.

Perhaps redefining the word "vague," police issued the following information about the killing of 18-year-old Edward Raymond Williams early Saturday morning at 7600 Beechnut:

"He was shot at an unknown apartment complex in southwest Houston for an unknown reason. At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s)."

And finally, Harris County Sheriff's detectives are investigating the death of a man found Sunday morning in the woods near the 9500 block of the North Freeway. The man appears to be the victim of murder, authorities say.
