Common sense would tell you that this stunt was a bad idea. I hope the epic LOLZ these intrepid, oh-so-rebellious pranksters got were worth all the repercussions.

It's not a hijack. Its a redirect. Better sue tinyurl too. You people just aren't that smart are you? A million websites do this all day. It's actually the page the Alaskian government put up, so there's nothing wrong going on here.

While you're free to have any opinion you want- you have no idea how the Internet works and should refrain from opening your mouths on technical issues.

The index page of crackho.com (usually index.html) contained an HTML meta redirect tag. This tag told the web browser of whoever came to crackho.com to simply go to another site- that of the state of Alaska. There was no hacking, there was nothing criminal. It's as if you came to my house, and I said "you don't want to talk to me- go talk to my neighbor instead."

In other words- It's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt."

Uhh, she did nothing illegal at all, it's well established that you can have a link or refresh to another site and nobody has anything to say about it.

That said, this whole thing is rather demeaning to real crack hos, who actually do something that is useful to someone.
