As we noted by including a call for omissions and corrections, putting together a list of the cut Chronicle employees may be a process that includes some mistakes.
With management not talking at all, we depend on sources. Several of them gave us lists that included Joe Conway, who did online stuff for the paper.
They were wrong, as our revised list now shows.
Conway resigned of his own free will recently; apparently the timing of it caused people to think he'd taken a buyout. (People who have taken buyouts, such as Janet Elliott and Clay Robison, are included on the list.)
The mistake is our responsibility; we apologize for it.
