What That Fireball Really Was

The fireball over Texas -- the one that is earning breathless reports in papers all over the world -- was either a piece of debris from that satellite collision or it wasn't, depending on who's answering the question.

We already have established that the satellite collision can likely be traced to the installation of red-light cameras in space. Or at least put it forward as a theory.

Falling debris, accompanied by a sonic boom, is a whole other matter. Experts say for a piece of debris to last as a fireball as long as this one apparently did, it would have had to have started out the size of a bus when it hit the atmosphere.

By the time it hit the gound, of course, it might have been the size of a pea. But still, it's nothing we would want to be in the way of when it hit.
If it's not adebris from the satellite collision, scientists speculate it can be one of only a few things:

1) Tracy McGrady's career arc.

2) Peter Brown's mayoral dreams.

3) The chances of Galveston getting casino gambling anytime soon.

Why God chose the Texas sky to illustrate these things in graph form, we have no idea, but He works in mysterious ways.
