R.I.P., The ClobberLine (As Big-City Prices Rejoice)

Somewhere in Hempstead, there's a big red phone that will never ring again. Lawrence Marshall has announced that the 40-year-old dealership is closing its doors, and thus no dotty old ladies will ever again shout "Ray! There goes that ClobberLine again."
Nor will any giant Aggies evermore answer said ClobberLine and then ignore the other party while they bellow about "big city prices" and "short drives up Highway 290." So while we do hope for the best for the 200 soon-to-be-ex-employees, we definitely won't miss the commercials.
