Chuck Rosenthal Won't Face Prosecution
Interim DA Kenneth Magidson announced today that Rosenthal will not be prosecuted for anything he did during his amazing self-immolation.
"After a careful and independent review of this matter, I have determined that there is insufficient evidence for prosecution," Magidson stated.
Magidson and the state's attorney general's office investigated whether Rosenthal broke state laws regarding his use of government resources, like the computer he used to both write and receive his infamous e-mails and do political planning.
He's been off the hook for telling a federal judge a somewhat truthy version of how he lost a different (and very large) bunch of e-mails, so the Chuckster is free and clear to go on doing whatever he wants.
