Parker Elementary in Westbury is a magnet school specializing in music, and it's long been known as a great school. (Even if other schools claim Beyonce as an alumna.)
But without a sign, they're reduced to trying to drum up publicity any way they can.

9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. - Alumni ReceptionCelebrate 50 years of Excellence in Academics and Music! All Alumni and current Parker families are invited to celebrate 50 years of Excellence on October 25, 2008, at Parker Elementary School.
From 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. there will be a special reception for Parker Alumni with entertainment; then Parker FunFest will be from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
