The police department in Dickinson has no power. FEMA is setting something up at McAdam Junior High, but no one knows what it is. There are "nine semis and millions of cops," says Miller.
A convenience store opened up just outside of San Leon, and when everyone left to get supplies, they were then told they couldn't return to their homes.
There is a huge disconnect between state and local authorities, Miller said, and "people don't expect to get anything from FEMA except bottled fucking water."
Miller says the next time a hurricane comes he's going to tie himself to a palm tree rather than "take a three-week odyssey around the great state of Texas" before he's allowed back home.
Miller is also pissed that churches in Galveston refused to shelter people, although he assumes they'll be open on Wednesday to collect money.
