HISD Cancels Games, Trips This Weekend

HISD is canceling all athletic events and field trips this weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). In addition, any games requiring teams to travel outside of Harris County tomorrow night are canceled.
"The decision on any further cancellations will be made no later than noon tomorrow," says HISD spokesman Norm Uhl.
By the way, this post introduces the Official Hurricane Ike logo. We're cautiously optimistic that readers under the age of 25 will recognize the old guy in the middle.
