Heights Theater For Sale

No, not the River Oaks. That's probably still headed for the wrecking ball.
The theater for sale is the Heights Theatre on 19th Street.
The theater, built in 1929, was the site of an antiques store until recently.
Asking price is $1.3 million, which seems a bit steep, but then again it does offer over 7,000 square feet.
Interesting to see if it gets any takers. Maybe Weingarten Realty can buy it and tear it down in a triple-play with the River Oaks and the Alabama.
