Victoria Osteen Trial: The Beatdown Begins

There's not been much in the way of fireworks (yet) in the epochal Victoria Osteen trial, which is simply the single most important case of jurisprudence since the Dred Scott decision.

The courtroom is packed with Osteen supporters -- our man on the scene had to take a seat on the floor -- and one thing is becoming clear: the lawyer mismatch we predicted a while back is happening.

Reginald McKamie, attorney for the flight attendant who's claiming to have lost faith in God, gotten hemorrhoids, been shaken to the degree she needs to have 10 percent of Osteen's net worth, is having his troubles.

Defense attorney/human shark Rusty Hardin is having loads of fun interrupting McKamie because his questions are improper. Judge Patricia Hancock interrupted the proceedings for a moment to impart some wisdom to McKamie on just how questions should be asked in court.

The hearing will resume after a lunch break, during which Hardin will no doubt wipe the blood dripping from his mouth.
