The quote of the day comes from Galveston city manager Steve Leblanc, at a press conference about all the damage Edouard wreaked upon the island:
"We had one tree that sustained a little damage out on the golf course, but that was it."
Moody Gardens didn't even close today.
Galveston's emergency status gets lifted this afternoon.
