Close Up The Still, Clem, They're Comin' After Our Moonshine

Categories: Spaced City
Break out The General Lee, boys, it looks like the law's gonna be on our tail.

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, which apparently doesn't have enough to do making sure no microbreweries thrive in Texas, has announced that they are beginning a new, massive crackdown on bootlegging.

After that's done, we suppose, they will target stagecoach robbers.

But wait -- this ain't yer daddy's bootleggin' they're a-goin' after.

"Bootlegging" is just the law they're using to crack down on college parties where the host charges a fee at the door for drinkers.

TABC -- screwing hosts, one party at a time.

Sp far they've been cracking down in Lubbock, which bans the sale of packaged liquor within city limits. (File under: One More Reason To Never Again Visit Lubbock.)

But soon enough they'll be coming to your town, too. Them damn revenooers.
