More Bad News For HPD

Categories: Spaced City
The District Attorney’s office is on an HPD roll – another officer has been indicted.

This time it’s HPD Officer Nedra Hall and she’s up on felony charges of aggravated perjury.

Seems Hall wasn’t quite truthful – allegedly, allegedly – during the investigation of two other officers, Tracie Denise Bell and Kirshondra Richardson, who have already been indicted for theft and engaging in organized criminal activity. The pair is accused of stealing funds from the Red Cross for a summer basketball camp for kids evacuated during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. (Stealing from the Red Cross, it’s gotta be a felony just to think about it, right?)

Hall, who allegedly helped the pair with some paperwork and then later lied about it, is facing up to ten years in prison and $10,000 in fines.
