Rice University may be ranked #17 in the country by U.S. News & World Report, but as far as the good folks at Trojan brand condoms are concerned, Rice and many other Texas universities barely get a passing grade.

Trojan recently put out its annual Sexual Health Report Card ranking sexual health resources at major colleges and universities. And according to the report, it ‘aint easy getting a rubber in Texas.

Rice came in at number 101 out of 139. Its cross-town rival in Conference USA, the University of Houston, scored even worse, coming in at number 111.

Criteria for the study included, among others, contraceptive availability, HIV testing, anonymous advice and student health center hours of operation.

The top ranked school in-state was the University of Texas at Austin at number 53. The lowest Texas school was Baylor University at number 134.

The highest ranked universities in the study are all up north. The University of Minnesota tied for top sex-ed honors with the University of Wyoming.
