Recognizing “star quality” when they saw it, Nine Lives rescued Morris the Cat in 1968 and put him in their commercials. That was almost 40 years ago. And would you believe it? The orange tabby is visiting Houston this weekend. Nine Lives, indeed.

The celebrity cat is using his name for a good cause – the “Million Cat Rescue,” which aims to find homes for one million cats. Practicing what he preaches, Morris himself has adopted a sidekick, Li’l Mo. Now it’s your turn. Meet Morris and adopt a kitty this weekend at the following locations:
