Steve McVicker, former Houston Press and current Chron staffer (and David Crosby look-alike), got his name in Variety yesterday.
Actor Jim Carrey has signed on for the movie version of I Love You Phillip Morris, McVicker’s chronicle of the life of Steven Russell, a conman who broke out of prison repeatedly in order to be with the man he loves.
