Geese, Ganders and G-strings

The Smoking Gun
We will never forget our lost brothers.
Last month we ran an item in which we directed you to the Smoking Gun to peep some pics of the poor lasses who'd been busted at Treasures.

In the interest of equal time, we now direct you back to the site, but this time to check out some dudes — eight of them actually, all busted for causing "sexual gratification" at a Lubbock Chippendales.

"[W]hile cops booked the dancers on a misdemeanor charge of violating the state's adult cabaret law, the Lubbock County District Attorney's office declined to prosecute the eight performers," says the Smoking Gun, making us wonder what this means for feminism.

At first, we figured it was a blow to the cause, since the Treasures women were charged while the Chippendales men were not, which would imply that women aren't allowed to be sex objects in public while men are, which would be a double standard, which would seem to be wrong. But then we thought about it in terms of the patrons. Basically, women are allowed to get horny in public while men are not, which would imply a double standard once again, but which would also signify women have come a long way, baby. Or maybe it just means men are more disgusting and need to be kept in check.

Damn, this is confusing. Slip your two cents into our comments section and let us know what you think. --- Keith Plocek
