It's clearly time to start thinking of your evening drive home. With that in mind, and with news that we're still in a flood watch until 4:30 p.m. at the earliest, we figured we should do the news outlet thing and offer up some flood shots of our own.

Spotted the rising water while driving up Memorial towards downtown this morning. It was suprising to see how fast the current was moving. I hopped out and started snapping photos. My editor would be proud: It was a hazardous affair. Well, not because of the water, but because I almost got rear-ended by a fish truck. -- Steven Devadanam
The water was threatening to reach the treetops. And yet, I'm pretty sure I saw a jogger. Or maybe it was a mermaid...
Why is public art always the first to go in a natural disaster?
If the water doesn't recede, at least nearby condos can start advertising "riverside views."
