The 5 Best Brunch Spots in Rice Village
In Houston, we're pretty serious about our brunch. Whether it be migas and breakfast tacos or chicken and waffles and loaded Bloody Marys, we have no shortage of awesome spots to get our brunch on. Keeping later hours and killer cocktails in mind, we'll be taking a look at some of our favorite spots around town. See the complete list at the end of this post.

This week, we're moving to the shopping and dining mecca that is Rice Village/West U.
Honorable Mention: Bottomless mimosas and all-you-can-eat buffet at Seco's Latin Cuisine and cappuccinos and crepes at Sweet Paris Creperie & Cafe.
5. Buffalo Grille Breakfast served all day; Weekend hours start at 8 a.m. (closes 2 p.m. on Sundays)
Great news! Breakfast is served all day at this fast-casual hotspot. Even greater news! You can add on half-liters of mimosa for just $12. We suggest starting with a stack of giant hot cakes for the table; That way, you can freely dig into a massive ranchero breakfast burrito, smothered biscuits and gravy, or green-chile-loaded migas on your own.
4. Ruggles Cafe Bakery Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Early risers will love the breakfast tacos -- like the cream cheese, sausage and spinach loaded "power taco"; smothered and stuffed omelets; and homemade granola and berry parfaits at this fast-casual eatery; While those later to the game may want to indulge in a 'kraut and thousand-island-smothered smoked turkey Reuben or loaded chicken mango salad. Either way, you'll want to save room for dessert. White chocolate bread pudding anyone?
