In this post, she explains how The Hobbit Cafe has gone from years of vegetarian dishes to serving up some incredible meat-centric sandwiches and burgers (along with a splendid wine list and craft beer list). The Balrog Burger is a double meat burger (one pound to be exact) topped with jalapenos (stuffed and normal), chipotle mayonnaise, mushrooms, avocado slices and bacon. Pair it with a cold beer, then take an afternoon nap.
CultureMap Houston: Saint Arnold Brewing Company has created a special beer, the 20th Anniversary Ale, in honor of it operating for two decades. Eric Sandler explains it is a blend of English and American barley wine with the brewery's house yeast. You can celebrate the anniversary at the brewery featuring Goode Company barbecue on June 7, then on June 9, head to the stores to buy your own case of the special beer.

The cake is made from bananas, sugar, olive oil, almond milk, applesauce, wheat flour and ground flax seed, and is topped with warmed mango slices cooked in brown sugar and coconut oil. With a combination of spices (cloves, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg) she creates one heck of a dessert you'll want every day of your life.
