After you taste the macarons from Bite, you will be hooked.

6. Bite Macarons
Bite Macarons opened on Buffalo Speedway less than a year ago, but its bright and beautiful macarons have attracted many customers to the store. The cookies are not bite-size, but are presented in a rainbow of colors contrasting with the fluorescent white display case. Owner and executive pastry chef Sandia Horng has dedicated much time and effort to creating her macarons, and it is evident with each tender, sweet bite of her masterpieces.

5. Dolce Delights
It's tempting to purchase every type of macaron at Dolce Delights. Do yourself a favor and choose fruity flavors along with one or two "adventurous" ones. The classic rose and tart lemon poppyseed macarons are simple and sweet, while flavors like bourbon bacon maple and mint chocolate chip skirt the edge on modern interpretations.

4. Common Bond
Sure, it's been open for only a few weeks, but Common Bond is successfully showing Houston its baking skills, especially with its macarons. The fluffy shells crumble with one bite, revealing the sticky, soft interior underneath -- and that's before you get to the filling, which is smooth and luscious. Be adventurous and try the PB&J macaron or the citrus orange variety.

Seriously, guys if you have not tried macaron by patisse, don't bother. They're WAYoverrated. They taste nothing like what they're supposed to. In fact, if u buy a dozen, you won't know what you're supposed to be tasting because they lack flavor. Not only that, but they cost more just because they're off w. Grey and are smaller in size. You're better off getting them at central market if actually like patisse's macarons. Although I don't know who patisse is considering the owners are Indian. The writer of this article clearly is friends with the owners because it does NOT deserve to be #1. Petite Sweets and even aräya and arroyo are better. Try petite sweets because they taste better, are bigger and they are flavored as they are supposed to be. Also, I'm not sure if you guys have ever tried to eat a macaron by patisse the next day, they're awful! Their consistency changed and they start falling apart. That's never happened to me anywhere else. Waste of money.

Such bullcrap, macarons by patisse is the crappiest macaron around town!! Their flavors taste like nothing, they charge more and their mavarons are smaller!! B.S. The writer is clearly best friends with the owners or something cause they're nasty! You might as well buy them at central market.

The one time I tried Patisse, the macarons were burned. No idea how you could rank her higher than anyone else on the list, or even Sweet which was overlooked.

I don't know why I thought Macaron by Patisse was a clothing boutique. I am so there.
