Don't wait! Houston Press BrewFest is back once again on Saturday, May 17 from 2 to 7 p.m., and now through May 4 at 11:59 p.m., tickets are only $30 for general admission and $55 for VIP.

BrewFest is a biannual event held at Silver Street Station and celebrating all things craft beer. Every year, the festival gets bigger and the beer gets better, so this is shaping up to be the most impressive BrewFest yet.

In conjunction with Lucky's Pub, we'll be sampling local and national brews, chowing down on grub from Whole Foods and some of our favorite food trucks and jamming to the tunes of some of our favorite Houston bands. Each general admission ticket includes entry and eight 3-ounce beer samples, and each VIP ticket includes eight 3-ounce beer samples plus food from Whole Foods and specialty beers for sampling.

We're adding more breweries every day, but so far, here's the lineup:

8th Wonder Brewery
Ace Cider
Angry Orchard Hard Cider
Atwater Brewery
Belukus
Brooklyn Brewery
Duvel/Brewery Ommegang
Goliad Brewing Company
Leprechaun Cider Company
Odell Brewing Co
Oskar Blues Brewery
Saint Arnold
Samuel Adams
Shiner Bock
Sierra Nevada
Southern Star Brewing

All of the breweries will be featuring more than one products, so there will be plenty to choose from. Should you find yourself wanting to sample more than the eight beers included in the ticket price, you can purchase additional sample cards for $8 each at the event. Cash only, please.

If you aren't in the VIP section sampling goodies from Whole Foods, be sure to check out the food trucks on site. We'll be welcoming Tha 1 Truk, Buttz Food Truck and Spikes' Sno Tasty Treats & Eats. Food from these guys isn't included in the ticket price, but it will be delicious, so bring some cash along.

Music will be provided by John Vincent Curry and Lost Element.

Because there will be, you know, a lot of beer here, we recommend you take the shuttle from Lucky's Pub in the Heights. It will be running from 2 to 7 p.m.

As always, BrewFest is strictly 21 and up, so leave the kiddos (and the pets) at home.

We'll let you know what other breweries, food trucks and musicians have signed up closer to the date of the event, so stay tuned. Ticket prices increase by $5 on May 5, so make sure you buy your tickets now!
