BrewFest Is Upon Us! Start Hydrating NOW!

Join us for all of the beer this Saturday!
The Third Annual Houston Press BrewFest is back this Saturday, May 17 from 2 to 7 p.m., and we've got your final brewery list and music lineup right here!

General admission tickets are currently $35, and VIP tickets are $60. Ticket prices go up $10 if you wait to buy them at the door, so go online now (if you haven't already) and get yourself a ticket. Sometimes we sell out, so it's a good idea to snag some tickets in advance.

A general admission ticket will get you entry and eight 3-ounce beer samples, and each VIP ticket includes eight 3-ounce beer samples plus food from Whole Foods and specialty beers for sampling.

The event is at Silver Street Station, and if you've ever attended anything at that venue, you might know that parking can be tricky. Parking is available at the corner of Washington and Silver Street, and there will be a shuttle running between this parking area and the venue from 1 to 7:15 p.m. Street parking is also available on the surrounding streets, but we cannot guarantee the safety of your vehicle there. Please do not park in the Winter Street Studios lot (2101 Winter Street) adjacent to Silver Street Station.

OK! Now that we've gotten all the boring logistics out of the way, let's talk beer!

Parking is boring but important.
Here's the list of breweries who will be sampling at BrewFest:

Music will be provided by John Curry from 2 to 3 p.m.; Leo Mendoza from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.; and Lost Element from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on the outside stage.

And because we know all that drinking and dancing is bound to make you hungry, we'll have three food trucks on hand: Tha 1 Truk, Buttz Food Truck and Spikes' Sno Tasty Treats & Eats. If you're a VIP ticket-holder, you'll also have access to a great spread provided by Whole Foods.

As always, BrewFest is strictly 21 and up, so leave the kiddos (and the pets) at home.

Hope to see y'all there this weekend! Cheers!

Will be in attendance!  Just wish Buffalo Bayou Brewery was participating...

@KaitlinS @RoosterMcGee ...I plan on it!  I'm going to go by for the tour Saturday morning prior to the Fest, so I'll rag on them a bit for not participating.
