Those better not be hollow.
The grocery stores are PACKED with Easter candies, and there's a lot to choose from. You don't want to make a poor decision when buying some of the worst candies, like Easter candy corn. Seriously? That's disgusting.

Kaitlin Steinberg created her list of the worst Easter candies, and I have made my list of the best Easter candies. Make the most scrumptious and tasty Easter basket you possibly can this year by loading it with these items. Your kids (and you) will thank you.

Fill up a carrot-shaped plastic bag with some Jelly Belly jelly beans.
10. Jelly Belly Jelly Beans
When you get jelly beans for Easter, you want the real deal. None of that generic crap. Jelly Belly is the bomb, and they come in a variety of flavors. Whether you want adventurous flavors like Dr Pepper or Buttered Popcorn (my personal favorite), or the simple fruit flavors, Jelly Belly has got your back. Plus, they're colorful and festive for the Easter season.

9. Chocolate-Covered Sunflower Seeds
Every Easter basket needs bright and colorful candy. If you're not adding jelly beans, then you need to add chocolate-covered sunflower seeds. You can always purchase the rainbow colored variety, but the pastel shades are the best for this season. It's a great blend of salty and sweet, and you don't have to mess with discarding the shell -- plus they are super-addicting.

8. Lindt Chocolate Carrots
My mom always includes these chocolates in my Easter baskets -- yes, my mother still makes me Easter baskets, and I am not ashamed. The Lindt Chocolate Carrots are shaped like carrot sticks and wrapped in orange aluminum foil; they also have a slight hint of hazelnut. Of course, they are not as healthy as a carrot stick, but it goes with the theme of Easter and bunnies and whatnot. It's also a nice change of pace from the standard eggs and bunnies.

Beautiful pastel-colored Easter eggs are excellent treats.

7. Bunny Mix M&M's
OK, OK. These aren't anything different from regular M&M's. But, aren't the pastel colors pretty? You can get the special "Bunny Mix" only during Easter season, and who's going to turn these beauties down? Even if the colors have nothing to do with the flavors, I'll take a couple of plastic Easter eggs filled with these colorful M&M's.

6. Nestle Crunch Easter Nest Eggs
Nestle Crunch bars are one of my favorite candies. The crispiness from the cereal inside the chocolate is an addicting combination. And they are shaped like eggs, so it automatically qualifies as Easter candy. Festive, chocolaty and crunchy.

I would add to this list almost any easter candy by Russell Stover's.
