Dunkin' Donuts will serve these PEEPS donuts for a limited time.

The thirteenth Dunkin' Donuts in the Houston area will open on Saturday, April 5. The new location, at 10840 Scarsdale Boulevard, will be another hybrid with Baskin-Robbins. This grand opening will also feature the brand new PEEPS donuts for the spring season. These are flower-shaped doughnuts with pastel green or pink icing and pink or yellow marshmallow PEEPS on top.

But, these aren't the only new restaurants in the Heights. Eater also reports that Warehouse Bar & Chill, a restaurant specializing in gourmet burgers, will open in approximately one month at 3333 West 11th Street. From the looks of construction photos, Warehouse Bar & Chill will have an outdoor patio. Charles Canales, the owner of the new restaurant, tells Eater that there will also be 24 different taps forbeer, mostly local, and other imported brews.

Bambu Desserts & Drinks tweeted that the location set for downtown has moved to Greenway Plaza. But, don't think this will delay the opening. The new Greenway Plaza location at 3825 Richmond is set to open this month, as shown on the website's locations page.

No name or menu has been officially announced, but the Houston Chronicle reports that the Azuma Group will open an izakaya restaurant at 318 Gray in Midtown, the previous spot of Farrago. Morago writes that this concept was inspired by chef Manabu "Hori" Horiuchi of Kata Robata. He will not be the head chef, but he will be involved in the creation of the restaurant.

Wasn't Feast Georges BEFORE it was Feast, also?  I think it's engraved on the building.  Georges opens and closes a lot of restaurants.

@Lehigh @Chic_Chick_Eats  Soft open means not "officially" open to public.  Generally, could be by invitation only.  I remember one restaurant had soft opening and donated the proceeds to charity.  It doesn't have to be like that, but you get the idea.
