The Bull & The Pearl, a new restaurant concept coming soon from former Batanga chef Ben McPherson, will hold a pop-up dinner at Good Dog Houston on Monday, March 24. The dinner lasts from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and will showcase the wonderful in-season seafood from the Gulf, as well as produce from local farmers. The menu includes baked oysters with bone marrow butter; beef cappelletti pasta with golden beets, Texas olive oil, green garlic, blackberry vinegar and pecorino; crawfish pie; and wagyu beef crudo with smoked oysters. Dessert features strawberries from Blessington Farms with buttermilk biscuits, cajeta (a Mexican caramel sauce), peanut brittle and roasted Meyer Lemon ice cream. Get a sneak peek at McPherson's new restaurant concept during this pop-up dinner; your taste buds (and stomach) will thank you.
