Enjoy a delightful seven-course tasting menu paired with a variety of Glenmorangie products for $115 at Kiran's tonight. Hal Brock of Glazer's will be the host for the evening. The night kicks off with a variety of appetizers, including quail eggs and caviar and duck and fig rosemary skewers, as well as "The Godfather Cocktail." The meal begins with curried lamb haggis, followed by sweet corn, haddock and potato soup served with whiskey bread and Glenmorangie 10 years. Next, each guest will enjoy a warm whiskey salad with green and red cabbage, and fresh coconut, served with Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or. After the salad, Kiran's will serve Scottish salmon with garlic naan and Glenmorangie Lasanta, followed by a grapefruit and vermouth sorbet. The final savory course includes lamb pot pie with cracked wheat and potato mash with winter vegetables and Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban. The tasting meal comes to a close with baked raspberry and bramble trifle with caramel and whiskey sauce, a cheese and scotch tasting, and Glenmorangie 18 years.

Help the Blue Line Bike Lab MS150 Team to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society by eating chili at Cottonwood on Saturday. The second annual Cottonwood Chili Bowl kicks off at 11 a.m. and the public is invited to come taste chili samples ($5 for a tasting bowl) from teams competing in the cook-off. Each guest may also purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win a variety of prizes, including a stained-glass panel of a bicycle in downtown Houston or a bike rack and shelf.

Saint Arnold is kicking off its first pub crawl of the new year with its first pub crawl in The Woodlands. Get your tickets for the event between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. at any of the first four stops -- Hubbell & Hudson, The Refuge Bar & Bistro, Bar Louie and Baker St. Pub & Grill. Hit up these four bars for the first four hours, then head to The Goose's Acre at 6 p.m. for the final stop. Saint Arnold will give each person a Pub Crawl pint glass if he or she successfully visits all five bars in the crawl.

Burns Night is a Scottish holiday celebrating poet Robert Burns, and D&T Drive Inn wants you to celebrate his life on Saturday. Tickets to Burns Night are $50 and include all food, drink and festivities during the evening. The night kicks off with a welcome speech, the Selkirk Grace and bagpipers. Then supper is served. Enjoy classic Scottish dishes such as haggis with tattis and neeps (a.k.a. turnips and rutabaga), cock-a-leekie soup (in case you couldn't figure it out -- leek soup) and cranachan (dessert). The night will continue with beer and scotch toasts -- you also get two free glasses of scotch with dinner -- and a reading of poems written by the great poet.
