Marathon Cheering Breakfast @ Skeeter's Mesquite Grill
Sunday, 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
As the marathon runners reach mile 12 in the Chevron Houston Marathon on Sunday, they're going to need lots of encouragement -- by that point they're almost halfway done with the race! So, Skeeter's Mesquite Grill invites spectators to cheer on the runners at the tents set up outside the restaurant. As you encourage and cheer for the runners passing by, Skeeter's will serve you a breakfast buffet with omelets, breakfast tacos, hot chocolate and coffee from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. Each year, Skeeter's sets up a cheering station, and this year is special because a few employees from the Adair Family Restaurants, and friends and family of owner Gary Adair, will be running in the race. The manager of Skeeter's in Sugar Land, Ciro Arriga, along with corporate chef of Adair Family Restaurants, Roberto Ozaeta, and the director of business development, Ronnie Hallanberger, will be participating in this year's marathon.
