Celebrate Dia de los Muertos at El Gran Malo. The fun begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday and ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday. Chef Ben Rabbani from the soon-to-open El Big Bad will be making tamales for attendees to enjoy while they make sugar skulls and Mexican saint candles. Tools and supplies to decorate the Dia de los Muertos staples will be available for $5. A variety of cocktails and other holiday-themed bites will be on hand as well, and a mariachi band will play on Saturday. All of the proceeds from the event will go directly to Girls, Inc.
My Food Park HTX Grand Opening

Though My Food Park HTX has been open for lunch with a few trucks each day since its soft opening, on October 14, it will now operate from 1-8 p.m. and plans to welcome 15 food trucks to the lot on Saturday, including Bernie's Burger Bus, Koagie Hots, Taco Nuts, Angie's Cake, Pocket To Me and Zeapod Cakery. The new park is located in the West Houston Energy Corridor, and did we mention it occupies a 3-acre space? That makes it the largest food truck park in Houston.
4th Annual Taste of Town Square @ Sugar Land Town Square

During the 4th Annual Taste of Town Square, you can enjoy food, beer and wine samples from some of the most popular restaurants in the Sugar Land Town Square, including BLU Restaurant and Lounge, Fish City Grill and Guru Burgers + Crepes. General admission tickets cost $10 and provide each person with 10 food-sampling tickets; wine and beer tickets cost $5 each and provide guests with one standard-sized drink. This year's festival includes a competition among the participating restaurants for the title of "Sugar Land Town Square's Best Dish." Celebrity judges will decide the winner and guests can vote for the "People's Choice" award.
