The Houston Press office was the happy recipient of some of the sandwiches today. The Palm brought slider versions of the Nova Scotia Lobster BLT, Chicken Salad Sandwich and the Stacked Roast Beef.
It is safe to say our staff is filled with carnivores because the roast beef sliders, complete with Swiss cheese, cole slaw, Russian dressing and a pickle, were gone in minutes. The lobster BLT sliders made with fresh lobster, oven dried tomatoes, a Goddess dressing, baby arugula and a piece of bacon were a delightful twist on the classic BLT. These chilled sandwiches might have been small, but they packed a lot of flavor.
The lobster salad BLT slider was sweet and savory.
The Palm will be open for lunch and dinner at 6100 Westheimer. Other menu items include a jumbo shrimp cocktail and baked clams casino or oreganata for appetizers, steakburgers and various sandwiches for lunch, and a variety of steaks and chops for dinner, like the double cut lamb rib chops and a prime double cut New York strip.
The Pina Perfection cocktail made with CRUZ tequila, pineapple juice, fresh lime juice and rosemary served on the rocks is one of the featured cocktails during The Palm's dinner service.
Executive Chef Ricardo Ramirez will also be creating a summer lobster for two deal for $79.95 from July 10 to August 31.
