Houston will receive four more Dunkin' Donuts locations in the coming weeks.
This week has been full of openings and few closings. So let's just get the bad news over with.

Houston Avenue Bar, aka Re:Hab Houston, informed the public that its lease is up and will be closing the first week of July. The Houston Chronicle reported that management already has a new location though, which will be opening in August, so they won't be gone for too long.

In other closing news, Dulce Bakery & Cafe quietly shut its doors this week, as reported by B4-U-Eat.

Now, here is some good news. In honor of National Donut Day, Dunkin' Donuts plans to open four locations in the Houston area, including one on S. Shepherd in the coming weeks, as noted by the Houston Chronicle. The next three locations should be open during the summer in Humble, Pasadena and Terminal E of the Bush Intercontinental Airport; now you can get your coffee and donut fix before you fly.

B4-U-Eat let us know that Araya Artisan Chocolate opened a third location on Uptown Park Boulevard last week, as well as Board Game Island in Galveston, where you can play more than 500 board games, enjoy coffee, sweets and sandwiches.

Although this restaurant isn't in Galveston, the Willowbrook area welcomed the breastaurant, Bikini Sports Bar & Grill, on Thursday.

Eater Houston Editor Eric Sandler reported that Houston will be welcoming a kosher and vegetarian restaurant from San Antonio. Green Vegetarian Cuisine is set to open in September near the corner of Chimney Rock and Bellaire.

In other coming soon news, Culturemap let us know that CityCentre will receive a soup, salad, sandwich and wrap café, Salata, this fall. Capital Grille will also open its second location in CityCentre this fall. With three openings last week from Grub Burger Bar, Seasons 52 and Texas de Brazil Churrascaria, CityCentre seems to be expanding quickly.

After this week's brisket theft from Killen's BBQ, it seems that some people just can't wait for Killen's to be officially open. Chef and owner Ronnie Killen posted pictures on Facebook of the restaurant's progress, stating that the restaurant should be completely open in about three months. For now, Killen's BBQ will be open on Saturdays from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., while supplies last, of course.

The Burger Guys also announced on Facebook that a third food trailer location is coming to Beaumont. The new location should be open in less than two weeks.

B4-U-Eat's newsletter says that Hugo Ortega and Tracy Vaught have named their upcoming restaurant, Caracol, which will be located at 2200 Post Oak Boulevard.

Although a couple of weeks ago, we lost a cupcake bakery, two more cupcake locations appeared. Gigi's Cupcakes opened a downtown location in the tunnel under the JPMorgan Chase Tower, as reported by the Houston Chronicle. New Addiction Cupcakes also opened on June 1. The location doesn't just serve cupcakes, though; it's a one-stop shop to buy donuts, kolaches, cookies, cakes and coffee, as well.

Eater also reported that Pistolero's had its grand opening on Wednesday. This restaurant serves tequila and tacos and is located at 1517 Westheimer Rd in Montrose.

Voodoo Queen, the bar from Moon Tower Inn is making lots of progress and seems to still be on track for the expected opening in June from photos found on Facebook.
