Follow Urban Swank's lead and ask the owner what he suggests you should order, like the Thaicos.
Examiner: Looking for a dessert just for yourself? No, it's not a cupcake. The Examiner serves up a recipe for a single-serving cake on the go. If it comes out anything like what's in the picture, you're in for a sinful yet delicious treat.

Gastronaut: Tucked inside a neighborhood grocery store, Foodarama, El Rey Bakery offers pastries that won't break the bank but will definitely leave you feeling satisfied. Amber Ambrose bought six for just $4. Talk about a sweet deal.

CultureMap: Get excited, MasterChef fans, because Christine Ha, last season's winner, has paired with Joe Bastianich to open a restaurant in Houston. Although specific information about the restaurant's whereabouts, menu and opening date is still up in the air, you can enjoy some of Ha's recipes from her new cookbook, Recipes from My Home Kitchen.

29-95: Alison Cook visited Moon Tower Inn and spent the afternoon enjoying a half-pound burger she added to her "Houston's greatest hits list." The Cheech Burger comes with a buttery bun, bacon, roasted poblano, melted goat cheese, sambal mayonnaise and the optional but highly recommended ancho chile, Dr Pepper and onion marmalade.

Urban Swank: For Food Truck Friday, Urban Swank checked out Pho-jita Fusion Food Truck and tried the Thaicos with Indian flat bread instead of a corn tortilla, as suggested by the owner, John. Moral of the story: Ask the owner what he wants to eat and you're in for a tasty treat.

Hank On Food: Hank headed over to Brooks' Place BBQ Food Trailer in Cypress to check out one of Texas Monthly's Top 50 BBQ joints in Texas. He ensures that this BBQ joint -- which features a large menu that could serve an army and chopped beef brisket sandwiches that will make your stomach happy -- deserved to make the Top 50 list.
