Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co., Houston's youngest fully operational brewery, celebrated its one-year anniversary this past Saturday with a few hundred of its closest friends.

The party was held on-site at Buffalo Bayou's warehouse location near Shepherd and I-10, featuring exclusive beers, live music and food from local food truck Phamily Bites. Founder Rassul Zarinfar fulfilled his promise to bring wild brews by offering up beers such as Triple Buffalo -- a one-off variation of the popular 1836 -- as well as bringing back favorites like the inky black Chai Porter and hazy Wit da Eff.

One of the more popular beers -- a coffee black IPA brewed in collaboration with Max Gonzales of Amaya Roasting and Catalina Coffee -- was gone in under an hour.

Buffalo Bayou is continuing to strike a chord with craft beer drinkers across the city and with each new brew, it's making a very strong case for eventually becoming Houston's signature brewery.
