We did it last year, and this year we're doing it again. It's almost February, which means in addition to fleeting resolutions, it's all about the chocolate, baby.

From Bacon & Chocolate Waffles to a piping cold cup of Frozen Hot Chocolate, here are 28 Ways to Indulge:

Friday, February 1: Head to Max's Wine Dive late night for Rebecca Mason's Thin Mint Brownie. The Fluff Bake Bar pastry chef and owner has teamed up with Max's to create a truly delectable dark chocolate brownie topped with mint meringue, chocolate fudge, and Fat Cat Creamery's mint chocolate chip ice cream. Now that's a nightcap.

Saturday, February 2: Celebrate Valentine's Day early with a trip to the wineries. The Blue-Bonnet Wine & Chocolate Trail offers two wine tastings paired with a chocolate delicacy at nine different wineries for $25 or $45 for two.

Sunday, February 3: Super Bowl Sunday! Make these quick and easy Football-Shaped Oreo Truffles for the big game.

Monday, February 4: Support local chocolatier Tejas Chocolates. Try hand-crafted flavors like Capristrano, a 70% cocao dark chocolate bar with notes of bright red berry and citrus, or Tres Leches, a "dark milk chocolate" made using whole milk, coconut milk, and heavy cream. Order online.

Tuesday, February 5: Have no fear -- even if Hostess goes down, Ranch Bakery, Houston's first "manly bakery", sells house-made Ding-Dongs available as one-pound mini cakes, nine-inch round cakes, half-sheet cakes, cupcakes, and cake balls.

Wednesday, February 6: Visit Central Market for the opening day of their "Chocolate Collection." Sample the largest collection of imported and local chocolates in the country and pick up some for a Valentine's Day dessert. Runs Feb. 6-12th.

Thursday, February 7: Try one of the best desserts in Houston at Ruggle's Cafe Bakery. Their White Chocolate Bread Pudding, made with French baguette smothered in housemade white chocolate sauce and served warm with ice cream and raspberry syrup, is truly to-die-for.

Friday, February 8: Knock down $1 sliders and shooters at Reef's Happy Hour. Then finish off the night with their Kahlua-spiked "No Minors" Milkshake and a slice of molten chocolate cake.

Saturday, February 9: Head to The Ginger Man for a Valentine's Day Beer & Chocolate Tasting. Tickets are $35 a person but there is limited seating. Call 713-526-2770 to reserve a spot.

Sunday, February 10: Head to Crescent Moon Wine Bar in Spring for the 3rd Annual Chocolate & Wine Tasting Event benefiting the Breast Cancer Charities of America. Tickets are $50 and include tastings of hand-selected wines, custom chocolates and hors d'oeuvres, live entertainment, and a silent auction from 6 to 10 p.m.

Monday, February 11: Pick up some chocolate sweets for your sweetie at Chocolat Du Monde. The store carries everything from chocolate blueberry candies to rich, dark chocolate fudge.

Tuesday, February 12: It's Fat Tuesday! Celebrate in style at Brennan's Mardi Gras Party, complete with live music and beads. For $65, they'll be serving a three-course dinner featuring favorites like turtle soup and chocolaty desserts like bread pudding and Texicana mousse cake.

Wednesday, February 13: Treat yourself to a pre-Valentine's day Chocolate Massage at Massage Heights. Cocoa butter helps to hydrate, soothe, and balance the skin's tone and texture and the chocolate releases endorphins, uplifting your mood.

Thursday, February 14: Happy Valentine's Day. Treat someone special to a fabulous meal finished off with a homemade Molten Chocolate Lava Cake. It's easier than it looks.

Friday, February 15: Friend have a bad Valentine's Day? Pop into What's Up Cupcake in the Heights and pick up a couple of cupcakes to go. The Nutella Cupcake, topped with a Nutella buttercream and filled with, you guessed it -- Nutella, is sure to please. You can also find them on the road in their 1954 Boles-Aero trailer. Check their facebook page for details.

Saturday, February 16: Head to Kenny & Ziggy's Delicatessen for some piled high corned beef on rye and a chocolate egg cream soda. Bubbe would be proud.

Sunday, February 17: Get some errands done in The Shops at Rice Village in the morning. Then pop into Croissant Brioche French Bakery and relax with a creamy, hot latte and a flaky and buttery, chocolate-filled croissant.

Monday, February 18: Got the Monday blues? Sweeten up a rough day by chatting over chocolate and strawberry crepes at Sweet Paris Creperie & Cafe.

Tuesday, February 19: It's Steak Night at Hay Merchant. Feast on a locally-raised, perfectly marbled steak and split a chocolate chip bread pudding for dessert. Be sure to look out for any chocolate stouts on tap.

Wednesday, February 20: Enjoy a leisurely lunch at the beautiful Tiny Boxwood's Cafe and finish up the meal with an award-winning chocolate chip cookie -- it's our 2012 Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Winner.

Thursday, February 21: Go for a run in the park and then treat yourself to a mini-dessert at Petite Sweets. Try a chocolate macaron, a cookies & cream cake pop,or a chocolate blackout mini cupcake.

Friday, February 22: Grab a great meal and a few games of bocce at the newly opened Brooklyn Athletic Club. Afterward, relax with a glass of wine and s'mores by the fireplace. Be sure to make reservations, as this new hot spot gets packed.

Saturday, February 23: There exists such a thing as a Chocolate Chunk Bacon Waffle topped with whipped cream and strawberries at the Benjy's on Washington. We suggest you try it. Brunch hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sunday, February 24: It's Oscar Night. Make some Chocolate & Almond Popcorn to munch on during the show.

Monday, February 25: Celebrate Meatless Monday at Pondicheri and pick up some interesting cookie flavors to go. Try Chocolate Oatmeal Chili, Chocolate Almond Coconut Fresh Mint, Double Chocolate Hazelnut Basil or its Elephant Cookie, made with peanut butter and chocolate.

Tuesday, February 26: Sip a White German Chocolate Martini on the gorgeous patio at Hotel Zaza's Monarch, located right in the lush Museum District. With Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur, Malibu Coconut Rum and Frangelico, you may want two.

Wednesday, February 27: Finish off a healthy lunch of house-dressed salad and water with a slice of a decadent-as-anything 3-layer Chocolate Fudge Cake at Dacapo's Pastry Cafe. Okay, so maybe you'll want to split that.

Thursday, February 28: Three words: Frozen. Hot. Chocolate. Grab one and some other goodies (like maybe some chocolate-covered Frito brittle?) at The Chocolate Bar.
