Hopefully, you're already celebrating National French Fries Day today. But hang on -- we've got two more good ones coming up.

What better place to celebrate National Cheesecake Day is there than The Cheesecake Factory itself? The restaurant is known for having more than 30 different flavors of cheesecake, all of which will be available for half the regular price on Monday, July 30, which is -- you guessed it -- National Cheesecake Day.

The restaurant will also be unveiling a brand-new flavor that day: OREO® Dream Extreme Cheesecake, which features a layer of vanilla cheesecake loaded with OREO cookies, layers of moist fudge cake and OREO cookie mousse and is topped with milk chocolate icing and a large OREO cookie wafer. And yes, you can get a slice of OREO cake for half-off that day, too.

Celebrate another National Day coming up soon on July 23 24: National Tequila Day, which will be recognized in style at TQLA (which is almost as appropriate as celebrating National Cheesecake Day at The Cheesecake Factory). Sip on free samplings and take in one of the complimentary Margarita Classes offered throughout the evening, where tequila aficionados and novices alike can learn the secret recipe for making the perfect margarita. The classes will take place every 30 minutes starting at 5 p.m., so there's no excuse to miss one.

Guests can also learn about the history of tequila at TQLA from on-site ambassadors while enjoying $2 off tequila tap shots and $5 off any tequila flights all day. And no National Tequila Day celebration would be complete without margaritas. TQLA's will be $6 all day long, made with 100 percent blue agave tequila, fresh lime juice and organic agave nectar.

Speaking of excellent drinking opportunities...

BRC Gastropub recently appointed a brand-new head chef, Chandler Rothbard, and is celebrating by hosting a a Karbach Brewing Co. beer dinner with a special menu from Rothbard himself along with Karbach brewmaster Eric Warner. The five-course menu will pair each course with a Karbach craft beer, while Warner will provide his own knowledge and expertise on the topic of brewing with specific attention to the beers showcased on the menu.

Says BRC's press release: "Whether you are knowledgeable about craft beer or new to the experience, [Warner's] ready and available to answer any and all questions, with a special focus on explaining how he and the chef arrived at just that perfect 'marriage' of beer and food." Mark your calendar for Tuesday, July 31 at 6:30 p.m. The cost per person will be $65 (plus tax & gratuity). Call 713-861-2233 for reservations.
