Here's a List of All the Restaurants You'll Get to Taste at Menu of Menus 2012
In my years of covering and attending our yearly Menu of Menus event, I've never been quite as excited for the grand tasting as I am this year. Why?
In addition to the first annual Iron Fork competition -- which pits two of Houston's best young chefs against each other, Iron Chef-style, while chef Monica Pope emcees -- we have close to 50 restaurants participating this year, many of them my own personal favorites and selections.
Those 48 restaurants are more than we've ever had, and we've got plenty of room at our expanded Silver Street Station (1500 Silver Street) venue for you to come out and try them all.
If you haven't already purchased tickets, there are still a few up for sale. General admission: tickets are $55 while VIP tickets are $90. VIP ticket includes entrance into the event an hour prior to the general public and complimentary valet before 6:30 p.m. -- and trust me, it's worth it.
