Where Are We Drinking?

This is no ordinary smoothie: This is a super-charged, good-for-you shake that happens to taste like white chocolate...despite being made mostly of veggies. Chalk it up to creamy avocado in combination with almond milk and agave nectar (plus a few other green superfoods), and you've got a healthy beverage that's more like dessert. Think you know where we're sucking this smoothie down?

I'm perennially amused by the "health food" cachet of agave syrup. Which is 70% fructose. "Bad" high fructose corn syrup is only about 55%.

I use agave nectar to cut maple syrup and honey because I like the flavor. I know vegans - like the ones who run this particular spot - use it because it's a vegan alternative to honey. Which is, I assume, why it's in this smoothie.

I love the combo of agave nectar and almond milk. Sounds like a drink worth checking out.
