Tequila y Tamales: Come Judge Them Both With Us In December
And nothing goes better with tamales on a cold night than a warming shot of tequila. So head out to Xuco Xicana on Thursday, December 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. to share both with us as Eating Our Words presents Tequila & Tamales!
Local restaurants such as Sylvia's Enchilada Kitchen, Pico's Mex-Mex, Xuco Xicana and more will be sampling their best tamales and tequila concoctions, and you'll be voting on your favorites. Best of all: It's free, so come celebrate with us and toast the holidays.
As with our hugely successful Wingtoberfest event, free tequila drinks and tamales are limited to the first 200 guests (age 21 and up, of course). Each guest will receive two voting tokens: one for the best tequila concoction and one for the best tamale. The winner will be announced at 8 p.m., so be sure to stick around for the whole enchilada (I could not resist, y'all; I'm sorry).
