Starting today, Molina's Cantina is hosting a month-long celebration in honor of its 70th anniversary. In fact, Mayor Parker proclaimed today "Molina's Cantina Day" to mark the occasion, something which Molina's is celebrating with food and drink specials all day long. The restaurant has also introduced a new margarita to mark their anniversary: The 1941, and it will be offering samples of the beverage all day today.
Everybody will be kung fu watching at Jenni's Noodle House.
Throughout the month, check in with Molina's on its Facebook and Twitter pages to find more specials, like limited-time-only menu specials featuring 1941-era pricing: cheese enchilada dinner for 50 cents, the #1 combo plate for just 60 cents, or chicken enchilada dinner for 70 cents.
Jenni's Noodle House on Post Oak will be hosting Kung Fu Movie Nights weekly through August 2. The movies, including classics like Drunken Master and Ong Bak, will start each Tuesday at 7 p.m. Order up, settle in and remember to BYOB.
If you made it to the Hats Off to Hospitality gala last weekend at Haven and got to taste Chef Michael Gaspard's pâté de foie gras, then you know how talented the man is. And although he's no longer at Brasserie 19, those who craving more of his food will be in for a treat when he serves up a special, one-night-only dinner at 13 Celsius.
The wine bar will be pairing five different wines with Gaspard's five-course meal, which will take place on August 1 at 7:30 p.m. for $65 per person. It's an intimate space, and the meal will likely sell out quickly, so be on the lookout for reservation details from 13 Celsius soon.
