Nick Hall wrote about disturbing holiday cakes, which triggered a bad memory for commenter trisch:
This post hits too close to home! I'm still traumatized from the birthday party I attended in 2nd grade where the cake was Miss Piggy's head and when they cut it, it was chocolate cake wrapped around a "brain" of strawberry cake! I didn't eat chocolate cake again until 6th grade and still have problems with strawberry cake. And I can't stand Miss Piggy.
That is just sadistic. But it brings up a question. Was the strawberry cake pink? White with chunks of strawberry (even creepier)? We need to know.
