Houston is Bayou City, Clutch City, Space City, and now....Hamburger City. Travel and Leisure magazine recently released its 2010 Best Of list, naming Houston the no. 1 metropolis in America for hamburgers. The poll was administered to visitors and residents alike, and in both categories, we came out on top.

This is quite a feat if you think about the almighty burger's reigning status as America's favorite sandwich. Not only has it been a symbol of the country's cuisine for decades, but from sea to shining sea, the past few years have witnessed daring hamburger makeovers in gourmet restaurants, raising the stakes of the competition. The poll omits any further details, so Houstonians, you tell us. Where you can you find the best burger in Hamburger City?
