Fork and Cork: Greg Morago reports on the rumors swirling around Textile lately, and they're not what you thought. With new chef Ryan Hildebrand working under owner Scott Tycer, Textile is expanding -- not gurgling its death rattle -- and looks to move to a larger space that can accommodate both an upscale area similar to its current digs, as well as a more casual gastropub concept.

Great Southern Foods: Jim Gossen of Louisiana Seafood recently took a road trip to southern Louisiana to check on some product he was buying for his company, which led to a fond blog post on the "wonderful Louisiana delicacies," chief among them the blue crab. Reading his post, you almost feel like you're along for the ride.

Cook's Tour: Alison Cook took a trip up to Tomball recently and found Randy Rucker's family-run business, Bootsie's Cafe, in good hands. She also reveals that he's working on another concept for the small town, one which he's not quite ready to discuss yet, although it sounds intriguing.
