#87 Deviled Eggs at Nielsen's Deli, 4500 Richmond

Deviled eggs and buttered bread at Nielsen's makes a sensational automotive breakfast -- it's cheap and it's easy to eat with one hand. And the flavor is over-the-top. The secret is Nielsen's mayonnaise. Mayo connoisseurs have been known to drive across town just to buy Nielsen's famous housemade mayo.

That extra rich, fresh-made mayonnaise is what makes the egg salad sandwich at Nielsen's taste so good. But the huge egg salad sandwich is a little too much for breakfast. (And at $6.60, it ain't cheap.) You are better off with two deviled eggs at 75 cents each and a slice of buttered rye bread--it tastes just like a half an egg salad sandwich, and with tax, this awesome deviled egg breakfast comes to $1.86. And if you are really smart, you will buy a pint of that insane mayonnaise for $6.25.
