PETA Searches for Sexy Vegetarians, Finds Two Living in Houston

Now that the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is over, those fun-filled folks at PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) have turned their attention to promoting sex, vitality and good muscle fiber among humans who do not eat meat.

As part of PETA's national search for the Sexiest Vegetarian Alive, the animal activist group found two Houston residents Houston residents and couple Robert Federowicz, 41, and Elisa Prevot, 37, who "beat out hundreds of other entrants from across the U.S. to become two of 20 contestants (10 male and 10 female) to advance to the final round." As the press release goes on to state:

Federowicz, who was born in Poland and has lived in India, went vegetarian three years ago after reading a leaflet that exposed the horrors of factory farming. He recently went vegan and says that he has never felt better physically or mentally. Federowicz is a personal trainer and enjoys skydiving, scuba diving, and rock climbing. One of his role models is vegan bodybuilding champion Robert Cheeke.

Prevot is also a personal trainer and owns her own studio. She was vegetarian for three years before recently going vegan. She credits her healthy diet for her high energy level and says that she sleeps much better now. Prevot enjoys reading, photography, and traveling. She shares her home with five cats--all of whom were rescued or adopted--and a duck named Isabella.

Robert talks about taking the red pill while Elisa describes herself as a compassionate person who seeks to educate others about "the suffering of animals."

The second round of voting ends March 31, and the two winners will be announced on April 14. Each winner will spend seven nights in Maui, courtesy of the PETA Member Advantage Program.
