International Chocolate Spy

Phoenicia Supermarket on Westheimer and West Houston Center Road has a nice selection of inexpensive imported chocolates on hand for Valentine's Day. Belgian chocolates are available individually for 65 cents each or $16 a pound. There are several gift boxes you can choose from. There are also several choices of imported European chocolate assortments. 
My camera and I got the bum's rush when I tried to check out the Valentine's Day offerings at another international chocolate shop. The guy behind the counter at Chocolat du Monde on Morningside in Rice Village told me that photography was prohibited because the shop was the frequent target of industrial espionage.
What would I have to do to become a chocolate spy?
