Shortly after reading Ted's advice, I ran across a six-pack of Wolaver's Certified Organic Will Stevens Pumpkin Ale at Whole Foods Market. The beer has a little box that says: "The organic pumpkins in this ale were grown by Will Stevens of Golden Russet Farm in Shoreham, Vermont -- just 15 miles away from our brewery."
The beer is a bright-orange color, and if I didn't know better, I'd swear there was some nutmeg and cinnamon in there with the pumpkin.
